Job Title: Senior Windchill Administrator

Role Overview:
The Senior Windchill Administrator will be responsible for the end-to-end administration, configuration, and optimisation of the Windchill PLM environment. This includes managing system performance, user access, integrations, upgrades, and supporting business-critical PLM operations across global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Windchill PDMLink, MPMLink, and ProjectLink environments.
- Manage Windchill ESI integrations with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle), including TIBCO EMS and BusinessWorks
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Design and implement high availability and DR solutions for Windchill using AWS
- Install, configure, and maintain Windhill PLM software in a multi-tiered AWS environment.
- Work closely with cloud infrastructure team to optimize EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, ALB/ELB and other AWS services used in Windchill architecture.
- Handle user and group management, access control, and security configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Windchill functional and technical issues.
- Support Windchill migration projects (Windchill-to-Windchill and non-Windchill to Windchill) using WBM/WBMFF
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering, solution design, and deployment.
- Lead junior administrators and provide mentorship.
- Participate in change management, workflow customisation, and report development.
- Ensure compliance with internal security and data governance policies.
Required Skills:
- Deep expertise in Windchill 10.2, 11, and 12 releases.
- Proven experience as Windchill administrator including installation, configuration and support.
- Experience in deploying Windchill on AWS using multi-tier architecture
- Strong understanding of AWS services, relevant to Windchill: EC2, RDS, S3. VPC, IAM etc.
- Strong hands-on experience with Windchill customisation, configuration, and administration.
- Proficiency in Windchill ESI, ThingWorx Navigate, and integration with ERP systems
- Familiarity with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, GitHub, Jenkins.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Certifications in Windchill or related PLM technologies.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or healthcare sectors
