Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
• Applies technical expertise to bring together ideas, business strategy, system capabilities and customer to establish direction that is aligned with the enterprise strategy
• Ensure stakeholder ambitions and proper communication with client executives
• Coordination with client Enterprise Architects and Vendor architects
• Presenting proposal with Client leadership and coordination with vendor architects
• Creating POVs and POCs and ensuring execution with delivery teams
• Create and maintain models that reflect business goals
• Apply technical expertise and leadership to guide teams in design decisions
• Champion innovation and modernization
• Focus on outcomes
• Discovers the art of possible
• Produces design models with high degree of complexity and connects multiple domains and technologies
• Designs, builds, tests and adapts solutions that optimize environment and meet evolving needs of customers and business, leveraging and anticipating modern technologies, e.g., Cloud to support the transition to full stack proficiency
• Support continuous integration; continuous delivery environment (CICD)
• Focus on customer and desired business outcomes in the design
• Consider security, scalability, reliability & feasibility in solution design
• Seeks to understand how customer will interact with system and how best to design solution from their perspective
• Demonstrates awareness of importance of security, performance, scalability, reliability and feasibility in solution design
• Seeks out and applies the standards, concepts & functionality of all technology /systems within domain including the relationship and interdependencies between technologies

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 16+ years of full lifecycle development experience with more than 7+ years as an Architect in open source with strong experience in Microservices architecture
 

Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience of working through the lifecycle from ideation to product build up
• Solid understanding of architectural patterns, design patterns and hands-on knowledge in applying these concepts to practical problems
• Experience in building applications using web technologies (Angular/React), backend technologies (.Net, Informatica), API (REST), microservices
• Experience in working with distributed systems and building/maintaining highly available applications and services, preferably on a cloud platform such as Azure or other hybrid cloud environment
• Proficient understanding of Infrastructure and Data strategy creation
• Experience in building and managing micro-services-based applications, with a solid understanding of the challenges presented by the architecture including inter-service communication, service discovery, distributed log collection, monitoring and independent scaling of services, etc.
• Understanding of API gateways, API lifecycle management and Hands-on experience in building, designing, and using web services, preferably REST APIs
Desirable Certification:
• TOGAF
• Cloud Architect (Azure or AWS)
• CICD / DevOps
• Agile (PMI-ACP, PSM, Scaled Agile or CSM)
