Job Title: Structural Designer

Location – Chennai / Coimbatore / Hyd  / Pune or Bangalore

Exp – 4 to 8yrs

Job Description: 

The role is to produce designs for engineering projects ranging from 11kV through to 132kV for
Contestable works as an ICP and client-side balance of plant works.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of a project. 
• Creating drawings using AutoCAD 2D/3D, Revit & Civils 3D. 
• Carry out structural calculations for onsite structures designed by the Civils team using TEKLA/TEDS
• Carry out detailed rebar design for concrete bases, foundations and transformer bunds
• Carry out detailed calculations for piling caps and steel platforms
• Proficiency with British and European standards, and Building Regulations
• Resolve technical problems and issues to support the delivery of projects or design objectives. 
• Prepare technical reports for both internal and external purposes. 
• Provide technical administrative support including project advice and design assessments. 
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Creating Design Risk Assessments. 
• Assisting junior or less experienced design engineers in their development. 
• Produce detailed designs from 11kv-132kv in compliance with Industry standards within time and budget.
